Donkeys are fun for the family & friends.
They love to go for walks or jogs. They eat very little. They must be in twos because they are a herding animals. They do not like to be alone. They have very little health issues if properly cared for. Most do not like the rain but they don't necessarily like stalls, just a small over hang. Even a small metal car port is good. They love to soak up the sun. They are great at jumping, pulling a carts, snigging, (pulling small logs). Barrel racing in cart, pole bending in cart. key hole in cart.

Donkeys are commonly know to the public as stubborn that's how they got the name Jackass. They have to be allowed to think over the situation you are asking them to do. They will not proceed if they do not fell comfortable. You can force them or give them the time they need to evaluate what your asking them to do. If they feel trusting with you and you give them time to look over what your asking of them, (and a few treats help) then they in most cases will proceed.  That's just who they are.
